What You'll Do
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment a patient contacts our office through their postoperative care journey.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a welcoming and professional first impression of Praxis Vision.
Schedule appointments and provide outstanding phone support.
Accurately enter and manage patient information within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Assist with patient intake, including visual acuity testing and medication review.
Perform ophthalmic diagnostic testing.
Support clinic operations and collaborate closely with physicians and team members.
Contribute to process improvements and help maintain our high standard of patient care.
Take on increasing responsibilities as skills and experience develop.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a medical office, ophthalmology, optometry, or healthcare setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience performing diagnostic testing is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Position Details
Location: Edina, Minnesota
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Typical hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Approximately 28–35 hours per week
Opportunity for additional hours and growth as the practice expands
Compensation:
$22–$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
