Cascade Eyecare Center in Grants Pass, Oregon invites you to consider beautiful Southern Oregon as the place to launch your career following completion of your residency or fellowship.
Our dedicated team of 41 is comprised of physicians, nurses, technicians, opticians, and administrative and clerical support staff. Our team benefits from a friendly, respectful, and cooperative culture, and we enjoy and promote a healthy work-life balance.
We currently have 3 full-time physicians/surgeons, and a pre-retirement part-time physician, who maintains limited clinic hours. Our 9-lane clinic includes an additional procedure room and an optical shop staffed with 4 opticians. We share the premises with our member-owned surgery center, just a few steps away.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and bonus structure and a rapid and simple track to partnership if desired. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 – 5, and we serve an average of 90 patients per day. A full-time schedule would consist of one regular surgery day per week and a 3 to 4-day clinic schedule. Our patient load and waitlist are such that a nearly full schedule is guaranteed from the outset.
We believe that Southern Oregon is the most beautiful place in the entire Pacific Northwest. Grants Pass is nestled along the Rogue River in the beautiful Rogue Valley, surrounded by national forests in the Siskiyou and Cascade Mountain ranges. We have some of the best year-round outdoor recreation in the country. Hiking and biking trails, pristine golf courses, rafting, and jetboat river trips are favorites of visitors as well as locals. Close by are the Redwood Forest, Pacific Coast, Crater Lake National Park, historic Jacksonville, multiple live theater and concert venues, downhill skiing on Mt. Ashland, and world-class award-winning wineries and breweries throughout the valley.
The Rogue Valley offers the best of both worlds; a relaxed, nature-focused lifestyle in a small-town setting, with larger city amenities within reasonable driving distance. Grants Pass (pop. 40,000) has major grocery and retail chains (Safeway, Walmart Superstore, Home Depot) along with a variety of services and charming local shops and restaurants. Nearby Medford (pop. 87,000) offers major retail shopping (Rogue Valley Mall, Target, Trader Joe’s, Costco), services and restaurants, and the easily accessible Rogue Valley International Airport.
